In our last seminar in SCITE held in Paskuhan Village, as a computer science student I learn about the different threats
The speaker tells us about the Cyber crimes different threats in our new technology, this are the:
Viruses – A virus (from the Latin virus meaning "toxin" or "poison"), is a sub-microscopic infectious agent that is unable to grow or reproduce outside a host cell. Each viral particle, or virion, consists of genetic material, DNA or RNA, within a protective protein coat called a capsid.
Worms - Worms almost always cause harm to the network, if only by consuming bandwidth, whereas viruses almost always corrupt or modify files on a targeted computer.
Trojans , Spam Dialers, Spyware, Adware, Hacking attacks, Phishing, Keylogger.
The other speakers tells about the latest trends in hardware and software, game development, off shoring and out sourcing, the most interesting in our seminar is the Voice Animation, our speaker POCHOLO GONZALES is very good in changing his voice, when he started to explain how the voice animation is done we became alive and he got our attention.
